Kwik-Lok^® Pin Maintenance and Installation Guidelines

The following guidelines outline the proper installation and maintenance practices for Jergens Kwik-Lok^® pins.

1. KLP pins should only be installed and removed by hand. Do not use tools for removal or installation!
2. Lanyards are only meant for holding the weight of the pin. Do not apply any additional forces to lanyards
3. Do not remove or install pins under load
4. Visually inspect before each use
5. If any deformation or damage to handle, lanyard, body or any other parts of the pin, remove from service.
6. Do not use under extreme heat or cold conditions. Operating temperature is -65 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit 
7. Hole diameters must be to specified tolerance range to ensure proper load ratings
