Product Spotlights
Keylocking Threaded Inserts
Acme keylocking threaded inserts are used to quickly repair stripped, damaged or worn out threads. Threaded insert products are also used in original equipment where they strengthen threads in soft metal like magnesium or aluminum. Acme threaded inserts are easy to install and remove. No specialty drills, taps or pre-winder tools are required. The keys are driven down into the threads of the surrounding base material, locking the insert in place. |

Swage-Sert™ Inserts
Acme Swage-Sert™ thinwall threaded inserts are used to repair stripped, damaged or worn out threads. Additionally, they are employed in original equipment to strengthen threads and extend thread life in soft base materials like aluminum or magnesium. Swage-Sert inserts have a special thinwall design that allows them to be used with minimum boss requirements to help reduce weight and increase strength. They can be placed closer together than Acme's traditional threaded inserts.

Keylocking Studs
Acme Keylocking Studs provide security and "repairability" in applications where you can't use a through-bolt/nut combination. They are superior for use in soft materials such as aluminum or magnesium when extra strength, extended thread life and vibration-resistance are required. |
