MRO Site Survey Disclaimer
Disclaimer:
The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) requires employers to comply with hazard-specific safety and health standards. In addition, employers must provide their employees with a workplace free from recognized hazards likely to cause death or serious physical harm. Employers can be cited for violations if there is a recognized hazard and they do not take appropriate steps to prevent or abate the hazard.
Jergens Industrial Supply has conducted this site survey to provide assistance to your company in order to help you improve your workplace. While we have attempted to be thorough in addressing the areas observed during the site survey, it is not possible to include discussion of everything necessary to ensure a healthy and safe working environment in this site survey report.
This information must be understood to be a tool for helping to address workplace hazards, rather than a complete list which will allow an employer to satisfy all legal obligations, as defined by statute, regulations and other standards as might be issued. Likewise, to the extent that this information contained in the site survey report references practices, procedures or suggestions that may enhance health or safety, but which is not required by statute, regulations and other standards as might be issued, it cannot and does not create an additional legal obligation.
OHSA may over time modify, add or delete rules and interpretations for reasons and changes which might occur in technology, information or other circumstances; Jergens Industrial Supply and Jergens, Inc. specifically disclaims any obligation to keep you or your company apprised of such developments, or any obligations to review those changes. It is the obligation at all times for you, your company and your own attorney to make all of your own interpretation of all laws or policies currently and in the future. See www.osha.gov.
